I bought an iPod Shuffle a couple of weeks ago. It's my first ever mp3 player, and I'm currently a PC user (if only because I'm poor).

It's amazing what such a little thing can do to change your life. If you're like me and you absolutely can't live without music around you at all times, having something like this is an amazing experience. I take it with me everywhere: to work, on walks, on car rides (when I'm not driving, of course). It can fit in my pocket and I can barely tell it's there, and I can clip it on my bag or on my pocket. Plus, since it's flash memory, I can drop it without worrying whether or not it's ruined forever, and I can run with it without worrying that I'll scratch my hard drive up.

Some people might complain that 1 GB can't possibly be enough space, but I love all my music so much that it's really hard to choose what exactly I want to take with me (which is probably the main advantage of having an iPod or iPod Video... you don't have to choose, just put it all on!). I still haven't even filled my iPod up all the way!

Even if someday I can afford an iPod Video, I still would never relinquish my Shuffle. The Shuffle can do things and go places that the bigger iPods just can't.

I bought the U2 video iPod back in January...
What was I waiting for!? It changed my life too.
I can't live without it. So much so...I have a shuffle now for walks.
I exercise much more often, and much happier!

Just Because iCan says:

I was watching GeekBriefTV this morning and wsa introduced to the MicroMemo. I was just wondering if anyones every played with it.

I'm asking because I do a little podcast and I've been checking out a Marantz from the college every week to record to. I don't mind checking it out, but I graduate in 2 weeks and I'm not going to have access to it anymore after that point. So, I was looking into a low cost solution for recording.

The MicroMemo says it records CD quality, so running my Behringer Eurorack mixer into it (instead of a Marantz) should produce comparable results, right?

Just wondering if any of the iPod users had played with it.

Tremolo says:

What I gathered from the official site and a few reviews I've read is it's supposed to be completely removable without any residue. One review also mentions however that you have to be careful if you remove it because it could damage the skin itself. Unfortunately, I can't speak from any personal experience.

Yeah people in the store I work in seem to like them... I'm not big into them. But hey, I tend to have weird taste ;)

I just put one of the gelaskins on my MacBook Pro and it went on very easily. I peeled it back and didn't noticed any residue. Check out the pics on my virb.

Here's how much I love my iPod: http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=11754799&blogID=235609139&MyToken=c7ef4386-a18f-48f9-9d3d-b5333e9d66ea

(taken from my MySpace blog - not spam, I swear... or, iSwear... lol, what a dork)

By the way, I love using the InvisibleShield. Been using that for some time now and not a scratch on it. It doesn't even affect how the screen looks.
