1349, jesus that's a record. It drags a bit towards the end but it's still mad strong. I've also been listening to cfd. Remember them? It's pretty emotive
Barring something incredible in the next few weeks, what were your favorite releases this year? Here are 11 of mine in no particular order: Times New Viking -- Present the Paisley Reich Pissed Jeans -- Hope for Men Glenn Mercer -- Wheels in Motion Baby Dee -- The Robin's Tiny Throat (reissue) Wire -- Read and Burn, vol. 3 Animal Collective -- Strawberry Jam Jesu -- Conqueror Nina Nastasia and Jim White -- You Follow Me Panda Bear -- Person Pitch Vic Chesnutt -- North Star Deserter Angels of Light -- We are Him Albums this year from Birchville Cat Motel, Deerhunter, Psychedelic Horseshit, The Field, Githead, Neil Young, Bobb Trimble (reissued) and High on Fire were great as well, but I haven't listened to them enough yet to honestly call them favorites. The new Spoon, Akron Family, Deerhoof and Arcade Fire albums were good too.
I can't stop listening to the Wooden Shjips. It's like the best parts of the Doors, Suicide and Hawkwind. Or maybe a garage rock version of Timonium. n.b. I did not know that the Doors had an upside until I heard this band. link to album: http://www.sendspace.com/file/3s69m8

Which version of A Woman Like You do you like better, the Black Swan one or the older, better recording?
Pale sketches by jesu: i didnt dislike it. pretty mediocre release though. and i thought conqueror was good what are the chances i could hear this lifeline ep?
Marty is the bill fox of my friend set. Evidence: your work by the relentless humans. I'm on my fourth straight listen and i'm grinning like a child each time. On a crowded public train. You make it seem so easy sometimes, marty. And fresh. I can't turn this up loud enough, i wish the song was a dopesmoker long, i want to buy your 10" AND pin, and make a zine just to have a forum to publish a review and email interview. Thank you for the latest in literally dozens of public shit-eating grins. 5 time starting soon, would cover if i get the chance

what do you guys thing of the deerhunter "fluorescent grey" ep? I wasn't that into it at first but now I think it's imcredible and the songs get stuck in my head every so often even if I haven't been listening to it.
