Gnosticism is a term to describe a diverse, syncretistic religious movement, especially in the first centuries of the common era, as well as a modern movement of revivalists. Gnostics believe that gnosis is a specialized knowledge of God enabled by secret teachings, and is thus the primary element of salvation. Some Gnostics consider themselves Christian, identifying Jesus as the divine spirit incarnated to bring gnosis to humanity, while some others associate themselves with Thelema and the writings of A.C.
Apostolic, Non-Apostolic, Thelemic, and Independent Gnostics are welcome here, Novus Spiritus need not apply.
