For anyone who uses TechTool Protege --- apparently the 1.1.1 update contains a version of Disk Utility that is likely to hose permissions on Leopard.

DRM-Free music is only offered by participating publishers. So, not every album will be released in a DRM-Free format, but hopefully we will see a large number of albums released like this.

Thats hilarious. I am more interested in seeing that PC get sliced in half than I am seeing her in a bikini though... windows bashing is supremely more sexy than her... :)

One day after Apple released the 8-core Mac Pro, for some reason I keep thinking back to my first computer...
An Apple IIc with an 128k of RAM (hard drive? hard drive? we don't need no stinkin' hard drive), a 5-1/4 inch disk drive, and a color monitor. I loved that thing. I could play Zork all day long.

All I have wanted since like 4 years ago was a macBook...
To lessen the severity of my need for one, I have 2 apple keyboards, and use Flyakite OS on my laptop...
Everything Apple does is freaking SWEET. To me, rather than pushing for production deadlines and getting things out there (microsoft) Apple takes time to make everything freaking SWEET and exactly how it should be. Anyways... until I get my macBook..... .... ... .... ... sigh

Apple TV arrived last Thursday...finally! It's pretty great, although it definitely has some shortcomings which will hopefully be improved with future software updates. All in all, I think Apple TV will be HUGE, in time :)

Hey Jake! Can you explain to me why I'd want an Apple TV over a HTPC? I play my iTunes videos on my HTPC, and it looks pretty good. With nearly 2TB of disc space, it can hold many more times the number of goodies.
I must be missing some, because everyone seems excited about it, but I don't. I don't see how it's really going to revolutionize things. I felt the same about the iPod when it first came out, so my track record on seeing the "big picture" is not so good!
