I read this fabulous story the other night called "The Opal Window" I really enjoyed it . I wish it were a full book so I could read all of the parts that had to be edited out for the sake of time. Truly a most entertaining story and very well written. Great Job Philip.

O yes. That was my flagship concept essay. I would have added volumes more to that essay had i not been given a page restriction. I have deemed this concept essay a huge success. It was followed by 2 other essays during that semester, All of which received a high "A". In recent days I have contemplated of writing the continuing story in book form. What do you think?

I think owls are a little strange. But they make a pleasant sound. I do like owls overall.

Have you ever tried to go for 30 seconds without thinking about anything at all? Its really hared for me because I tend to get anxious to start thining again. And its really hard to control the subcontious thinking such as analysing brick patterns or shapes in a room. Attempting to think about nothing simply results in me staring straight ahead with a glazed stare. What about you?

I don't think it can be done. Because when attempting to not think about anything you would be thinking about not thinking. I will attempt sometime in the near future when I am alone. I will post the test results here. Unless under anesthesia it may not be done.

That was one concern of mine as well. Becuase you have to be thinking to realize that a certain amount of time has elapsed. So in essence you have not completely stopped thinking. At the moment I am just trying to see how little that I can think rather then attempting to stop all thought. I think I would be very frightened if i did reach the point of no thought because i would not have any stimuli to tell me it was time to quit. Then I might be in a temporary vegetative state. Its a very intriguing concept though. And very hard to try. Any more ideas on the subject?

I was really close to not thinking . But felt a little too passive . Must continue to think. Must continue to think . Must continue to think.

I think i got really close to not thinking last sunday. I was sitting down for an extended period of time and began to stare straight forward with minimal thought. It was a little frightening though because it almost seems difficult to snap out of.

Yea, local elections can be a little tricky because the candidates often dont have a website. I went to the city hall once to ask about certain candidates, but the receptionist told me that the city hall is a nutral zone therefore no information can be posted on each person. And I was too lazy to persue that any more so i didnt vote.
