Hi,
Ive been playing around with some ideas and wondered what people think and how well it looks on other peoples computers. The site is not at all in any way finished yet as there is an obvious lack of content. But before I get into that I just need to check the wave thing I've created works ok.
This is the old site , very out of date, very hard to maintain. And this is to be the replacement.... well the background kind of theme at least.... as I said, the content, and layout coming later.
What do you think?

Wanted: Interactive Art Director/Flash Expert
Tocquigny, a leading digital marketing agency, is looking for a virtuoso interactive art director/flash guru to add to our team, someone who can bring imaginative interactive applications to life on behalf of our clients.
About you
You've got a discriminating eye for design and a passion for creative problem solving. You know your way around flash video. You're a XXXL with XML. Javascript, HTML and CSS you've been there, you've done that. You're a full-throttle natural with ActionScript and you can think of a gazillion ways to pull off a flash design. Chances are you've got some server-side code and a database or two under your belt. You've got a portfolio other designers wished they had, but you're humble about it. Most important, you like conceiving big ideas and you excel at turning them in to something bigger, something no one else has seen before.
About the job
You'll work with our UI developers, art directors and copywriters to develop and execute creative concepts to meet our client's objectives. You'll interface with our account teams and be responsible for presenting your work, both to internal teams and in client presentations.
About us
Tocquigny specializes in creating immersive, fully measurable digital marketing solutions for our clients. From our offices nestled in the creative hub of downtown Austin, TX, you'll get to flex your interactive muscles working on a wide variety of consumer and B2B brands. You'll help guide our clients to new heights in the digital space, persevering through deadlines and indulging in Friday breakfast tacos along the way.
Think you have what it takes?
Send in a link to your portfolio and pass along your resume.

So I'm extremely new to Flash design for anything really major and took a gig as a programmer (php) but the clients have all been wanting Flash sites based on different templates. I'm quickly realizing that jumping in head first on a template to figure out how to change things is... well... a little difficult. Such as custom sound control and showcasing multiple FLVs.
I'm not looking for anyone to do anything really labor intensive... just maybe someone who would be willing to look at the fla and guide me in certain areas on how to get it to do what I want.
I can't pay much, if anything right now, but my appreciation would be priceless lol

Hi All,
Are there any professional Flash Website designers who would give me some advice on a Project Quote for a Flash project?
I have the Creative Assets and Art Direction with predefined Flash elements needed for the project.
- I mainly work in XHTML and CSS and usually try to advise clients to make hybrid sites (better for SEO), but this particular site is for a high profile creative agency and they want some things that only FLASH can truly pull off. Point being, I can make the project happen, but I don't really know what the ropes for Flash Project Quotes are.
If you can help me out on this - I would appreciate it greatly. Just message me from my profile page - so we are not junking up this group.
Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, been Virbing for a while now and, as I've finally got a profile I'm fairly pleased with, I thought I'd drop by and say hello.

I just posted this on a blog and thought I would share:
"Imagine a rabid foaming rainbow mouth of an invisible dragon who growls at you, but accidently spews up his own tongue, a magic word balloon and drools over your face like Niagra Falls. The word ballon turns out to be the main navigation for the website. When the web user scrolls over a link in the navigation our lil' CAPiTA monster in the upper right corner coughs up the subnavigation like a cat would cough up a hair-ball. - All this in the name of snowboarding."
Sometime when the mood is just right check out this site:http://www.capitasnowboarding.com/main.php
- enjoy
