So, I was watching Seinfeld last night; it was the one where Kramer and his midget friend had to act out various diseases. It turns out, one of the med students was played by Daniel Dae Kim. My girlfriend noticed him right away. I had to look it up to make sure it was him. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0697663/

he was also in a few episodes of angel as a Wolfram and Hart lawyer, he later died and became a zombie.

I'm hoping all of you have found this, but if not:
flyoceanicair.com
that's the very tip-top rabbit hole (not counting the billboards). If you missed out on The Lost Experience, you still have a couple weeks to jump onboard this ARG; it's supposed to lead right in to the premier of season 4. (Of which I'm growing more and more afraid we'll only get 8 episodes of...)

Has anyone confirmed or denied a correlation between 'Cloverfield' and Lost yet? The commercials have hints of the 'black smoke' in them and the obvious huge monster in NYC.
Like Wendy said: I *want* these to be connected.

i've been following Cloverfield for a few weeks and there are no significant connections to Lost, other than being produced by JJ.
and the monster is definately NOT the black smoke.
Lost returns Jan.31. I can't wait!! =)

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm predicting there is a character named Ethan in it...

I don't know all the details about the whole Ethan Haas thing, but from what i've read, that was just a big misunderstanding / coincidence and has nothing to do with Cloverfield. I was supposed to see the film tonight, but my plans fell through, and now I'm sad. =(

Yep, no correlation. Although if you stay till the very very end of the credits you will find yourself in a bit of a Lost-esque mystery. Cloverfield is its own beast (heh) though. The two are definitely NOT connected (unless there's some background easter egg someone stumbles upon), but regardless it's a pretty awesome movie.
And yes, the Ethan thing was a total misunderstanding.

I mentioned Ethan because of there being an Ethan in Lost, as well as in Mission Impossible 3. But, I guess he wasn't the one that came up with the name in MI3.

K, I just seen the movie. I found no Lost connections, however, there was one for Alias (Slusho).

Yeah, although a good movie, there was nothing blatantly obvious. I'm sure there's an 'easter egg' in there somewhere though.

Right at the beginning you see the Taoist bagua, used in Lost for Dharma. (very short frame)
Also in the intro the number 47 (Alias).
42, 23 and 16 come up various times. the most obvious at "my name is robert hawkins, it's 6:42... may 23rd"...

Postlapsaria is correct, i guess i must retract my previous statement about no connections between Cloverfield and Lost. In the opening of Cloverfield, the Pearl station logo DOES make a brief appearance. Also there is an overlayed image of the decapitated head of the Statue of Liberty in the new "Find 815" ARG. I suggest you head to cloverfieldclues.blogspot.com for all the details.

Here's one of those free recaps of the entire series available through iTunes to get you ready for the 4th season. I've downloaded it but haven't watched it yet. Get it while you can kiddies. :D

Just finished watching it. It's amazing how much they were able to get in at around eight minutes (the actual recap is less that eight minutes and 15 seconds. Nice idea though). It's a quick bullet point narration bordering on the snarky and snide. Well worth the download I think. Always good to look at things from another perspective.

I agree. That last mobisode was the best of the bunch, although the one with Hurley and Frogurt had me laughing.
Almost time for season four... Seconds away.

That one was quite good and rather interesting...especially after the whole "rocking chair" thing. Room 23 was also pretty cool.
