well, some of you remember me finding a bat in my office a few months ago..well now it's a night hawk. fortunately this one wasn't in my office though. i was making my rounds about the mill last monday when i came across what i thought to be a pigeon. at a closer look, i could see that it was not one of those, but instead a baby hawk that was about half alive. liking birds a whole lot, i took him home and made some calls to find out what i should dountil i could get him to someone who could better take care of him. since monday, i have been feeding him slivers of raw steak and watching this animal transform from something that was half dead, to something that can now fly around my living room. i have to say i am pretty proud of myself on this one.... my cat, mr. andrews, has been very curious since i brought it home.

Called on Hollie and Rob on the way home form work - Rob has a new …

Called on Hollie and Rob on the way home form work - Rob has a new bike and when I got home I sneaked a peek at his facebook page to see some photos - stole this one of Hol on it! they have had a couple of people round to look at the house - and say if they buy a barge as is likely, they'll get one from 'up north' as they are cheaper there, then sail it down (if 'sail' is the right word for what you do on barges...) Seeing both Hol and Kate on Sunday for an excursion with my dad. It's been a year since my mum died so we're all going back to Derby.

I needed to make a new group. This one will involve some camera or video input - I'd like you to present a snapshot of a moment in your life as often as you feel able, but preferrably at least once a week. Daily would be ideal, but I realise that some of you do have lives to live so I'll make this concession! (If you like you can save your daily output and post seven images at once, or if you like taking photos, then seven images a day is also acceptable!)

What I'm looking for here is an image (or images) that represents what's going on in your life at this precise moment.
It can be a self portrait, a family group, a pet, your workplace or colleagues, your lunch even (how about a record of every meal you eat throughout the year?), your car, the weather that day, your town or some event that's taking place. Your birthday? - let's see the celebrations (or the deflated balloon or discarded wrapping paper). Your latest tattoo or haircut. Anything and everything, but try and make a commitment to make regular posts.
A bit like the boring group, where I would say 'today, I am wearing black' - well here you might actually get 365 pictures of me in various shades of black.
If you are pregnant, then a record of your growing bump.
If you buy a lottery ticket, a shot of that - and the following day, a shot of the yacht you are planning on buying, or the rubbish bin where you threw it in disgust.

The possibilities are endless. I'm excited at least - and even if I'm the only member, I'll be using it as my personal blog.
