as Hanson so eloquently sang, "[love] makes the world go 'round and 'round and 'round." really, though, regardless of your spiritual/religious beliefs (if any at all), it is hard to deny that this world would be much better if everyone showed a little more love.

it seems so simple, but it isn't. we can, however, try a little bit harder to make a conscious effort to just be nice. holding a door, smiling at a passerby, giving a compliment (genuinely, of course), taking time to listen to a friend, doing someone a favor, or letting a car merge onto the highway--no matter if they are little or big, acts of kindness can make someone's day just that much nicer.
