Join our demonstration in Brussels, September 9th. We don't want to impeach Bush, we want to support the American Public that knows their next president won't be any different. We are uniting all 9/11 truth movements, monetary reformers, Amnesty, Oxfam, Greenpeace, and many more. It is the sick money system - that makes presidents like this, poverty, war, weapon and oil business possible - that needs to change! HELP US NOW!!!
I dont belong to any humanist movements (well besides this one) but I love them since they are the only hope for our species in such a terminal stage of our existance. Thank you everyone.

In college, I occasionally attended Christian Club meetings -- but only because they had the best snackage. My favorite line from these functions, uttered by a similarly-disposed friend during commencement prayers, was, "Less god...more milkshakes" -- and to this day I quote it as a sort of personal philosophy.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead
Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without supernaturalism, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity. • The American Humanist Association
Humanism is a rational philosophy informed by science, inspired by art, and motivated by compassion. Affirming the dignity of each human being, it supports the maximization of individual liberty and opportunity consonant with social and planetary responsibility. It advocates the extension of participatory democracy and the expansion of the open society, standing for human rights and social justice. Free of supernaturalism, it recognizes human beings as a part of nature and holds that values—be they religious, ethical, social, or political—have their source in human experience and culture. Humanism thus derives the goals of life from human need and interest rather than from theological or ideological abstractions, and asserts that humanity must take responsibility for its own destiny. • The Humanist Magazine
