Finally got my hands on a copy of Skin! Not too bad so far. I also got a re-edition of blink titled "blink of an eye" or something. I haven't read the original version of it either, but the front says something about it soon to be a major motion picture. I can't wait until ADAM is released; looks like some of his best work yet.

Just checked out the site. It looks fantastic. Now I can have all the joys of reading a brilliant story mixed with a childlike interest in good comic book art. I look forward to seeing the story come alive this November.
And for the record, they drew Rachelle really pretty...

I saw Thr3e, and I thought it was good. Definitely one of the best "Christian" flicks I've seen. The plot was a little different than the book, but I liked it.
I just wasn't crazy about how they portrayed the evil characters in the movie. Like they had Slater tape record threats, which is fine, but he wore a mask and did this cat-like hiss/snarl at the camera. What was that all about? In the book he was downright sinister, but in the movie he was a little too goofy. I mean, sure he's bombing stuff, but he didn't seem as incredibly scary as he could have been.
And I didn't like how they portrayed Belinda. There's one part where she scrapes her fingernails down a stack of newspapers and bites off the words "Isolate them with the truth." (It sounds better in writing than in the movie...) That part just was really goofy in my opinion. I think they could have made her cold and manipulative without being completely off the deep end. That would have made me dislike her character instead of her acting.
On a more positive note, I loved how they filmed the final plot twist of the story (the basement showdown... I don't wanna spoil anything). That was brilliant. When I first read Thr3e, I tried to imagine what it would look like as a movie. They definitely did that scene justice. I also like how they elaborated more on RK's plot line. And like I said before, I think it's one of the best Christian movies I've ever seen. I look forward to seeing more quality Dekker films.

I love Ted's books....he is porbably one of if not my favourite author. I have read the Circle Trilogy, Thr3e, Obsessed, Showdown, House, Saint, When Heaven Weeps and Heaven's Wager. I wish i could say I had read all of his work....hopefully I will have a copy of Skin in the not too distant future. I like how he has in some instances weaved parts of his other books into the story line of another. I thoroughally enjoyed the circle triology - although was a bit dissapointed when it ended, I wish it could have kept going. Thr3e was AMAZING! The plot and the overall theme of the book was fantastic. I took a bit to get into Obsessed I must admit but I consider it one of my favourites. I love the fact that Ted doesn't shy away from painting black as black - evil as evil.......the last thing this world needs is another load of "relativity" garbage. I like the Bible verses that were at the end of both Thr3e and Obsessed......you can clearly see how they tie in with the theme of the story after reading it. I'm not sure if I fully appreciated Showdown. It didn't seem to capture me in the same way. That being said, i liked how he portrayed the consuming nature of the character's cravings. House was pretty good, I thought the ending...the very end was a bit lame. I'm looking forward to seeing both Thr3e and House on dvd or something........I don't think Thr3e has reached Australian shores yet. Anyway, I am pretty much a fanatic fan of Ted Dekker's work and hope to some day become an author as well......fingers crossed.

I loved all the Dekker books that I have read. I haven't picked up his "Blessed Child" series or the Martyr Song book, but Blink ruled, The Circle Trilogy was amazing, and yeah it was too short, Thr3e was pretty sweet and very cool, Showdown was... the best thing ever, and House kept me turning pages late at night. I can't wait to read Skin.

I've read Thr3e, Blink, the Circle Trilogy, The Slumber of Christianity, Obsessed, The Martyr's Song, Showdown, and Saint. I think my favorite was Obsessed. They're all extremely amazing, but Obesessed and The Martyr's Song made me cry. Definitely beautiful works of art. The graphic novels are gonna rock!
