This is my next purchase. I just bought an Xbox 360 which I have running off my current and older Dell monitor (which allows switching between two video sources: my computer and my 360). My current monitor is actually higher res than my TV (which is just (enhanced-deff"). So I figured when I do the upgrade to Full-HD, I will go for a new Dell that can handle the 1080i rather than spend twice as much on a TV.
I also have a friend who's an authorized reseller for Dell, so I'm getting a sweet little discount!
I LOVE my vaccum...

Ok then - this is just the story of my shopping trip today - nothing for any of you to feel envious about, but I need to share my bargain purchases. I didn't intend to go out clothes shopping - in fact, if I could avoid that all year round I would (I hate shopping for clothes to be honest). Anyhow, we'd had the plumber round to fix our toilet this morning (wouldn't flush properly, since you ask) and that turned from a simple job into a 3 hour marathon, what with him not having the correct parts (115 quid later, thank you very much) - so when he left my husband suggested a trip shopping since he needed some new work shoes. We have a chain of stores here which, if you spend more than 10 quid on any item you feel like you've been fleeced, called Primark. I bought 2 coats and a belt there and the total cost was 9 quid (I'm saying quid rather than pounds or using the symbol because virb doesn't like it) which translates to $18. Both the coats were parka types ready for autumn and the belt was just a belt. But, one of those coats cost 1 pound $2 only - and it isn't a rag either. I'm so pleased with my bargains, I can't tell you (and in case you didn't realise, I'm not one for 'labels' though I don't shop in charity shops either - it was just a good buy I think. That's it - no pictures yet. Sorry.
I really, really want this toaster!!!

You know that feeling you get when you buy something you're really excited about? And you want to tell everyone about it, but don't want to be THAT person? (That person that is always bragging about what they have.) Well now is your chance to be that person - without feeling guilty about it. Point of clarification: the goal of this group is NOT to make others feel bad; this group is really just meant to be a forum for its members to have a little fun...sharing some of their possessions with others. Just like we all (probably) did as kids in school. I'd like to open it up even further to include potential purchases. For instance, if you're thinking about buying something but aren't sure and want some feedback, post it here!
