Hey everybody!
I was wondering if anybody uses / knows of a good server company that supports Rails. I made an app, but it won't work on my current host.
Also, if anybody is interested in being a beta tester for yaxal (http://www.yaxal.com), go to the website and enter your email. You'll be one of the first to try out an amazing program.

Yay for freelancers!
I've been a freelance web developer for 2 1/2 years. At present I get a designer to do me a photoshop mockup and I do all development from there (database design, xhtml, xml, php, javaScript & css). I would like to have a development partner to do most of the xhtml, css & JavaScript work. I would prefer to concentrate on databases & PHP.
I currently have 1 client website on the go and I'm toying with the idea of paying some attention to my own website.
My last website can be found here:http://www.dreamstore.org/
Cheers;

Currently working on four new realtor websites as well on a full-time retainer of one of my past clients. Went to part time at school just to keep up. Wouldn't trade it for anything though. A few sites I've designed.

ProVIRB: A new Virb community site is launching soon!
Hi all,
Just thought you'd like to know about ProVIRB - a new Virb community site some freelancing friends and I are working on.
The site will be chocked full of Microformats. hCards for all authors, hReview for profile reviews and of course hAtom for all our blog posts and possibly even the vote links microformat. Its our first group project as freelancers so show us some love! There will be plenty of opportunities for other freelancers to submit content and get noticed when we launch.
We're hoping ProVIRB will be the number one place to go for Virb themes, modules and tutes. We've got some great features in the works which we're sure you'll dig.
So if you're interested, jump on the mailing list so we can keep you posted on our launch date (feel free to Digg us while you're there ;) ).
After signing up, head to our Virb profile and add us to your friends list. As the site progresses we'll be keeping our friends up-to-date via our home on Virb. We'll also be launching a private beta, and our first 500 friends will be invited to help us out with it (we're so Web 2.0)!
Cheers!

This has to be the group I identify with the most out of all the groups i'm part of. But I must ask, why does the group say "high tech PHP"? :-) "High tech Ruby On Rails" would be more accurate!
On a similar topic, what would you guys choose if you had the choice between vim and emacs? I'd choose nano out of those two...

Freelancing was the best thing I have ever done in my life :)
