Well, I removed the cacoon *see below* to compete in a 24hr MTB race this past Sat.-Sun. It has been a good ten months since I have ridden hard. I blew my knee out playing soccer and had reconstructive ACL, MCL and Patellar Chondroplasty in November. Needless to say I was worried, but my nee did great...however my lungs did not and I was weezing.

I just purchased a 2007 K2 - T nine Ridgeline , gotta love REI sales.
Unfortunatley, I forgot how much work riding a full suspension bike is, my legs are hurting today!

Hi! Could anyone recommend a resource or two that someone who knows very little about bike repair/mechanics could use to learn more? That someone being me of course. Last year I started to get serious about bikes, and I ended up buying a new hybrid for a couple hundred dollars, and every time something that ends being a minor fix comes up, I have to take it to the shop. I'd like to learn to do that stuff myself. Also I've realized too late I'd possibly have been better off using that money to fix up a used road bike for the type of riding i'll be doing when I move to Chicago, and I'd like to learn how to do that. Any suggestions?

it's a commercial for a track bike event in Seattle, which is a main point in my movie veloCITY. Let me know what you guys think, you can even make fun of it I don't care. Any feedback is good. I'll have a trailer for the full movie up pretty soon. Thanks!

My trainer sees more use in the winter months than any other time of year, however, that is due to the lack of daylight and not the lack of friendly weather...Florida's good like that. The clocks go forward this weekend and I'm looking forward to my beloved Balls-to-the-wall group rides in the evenings after whistle blows at the ole' nine-to-five.
