You know when you order a drink in a restaurant and it comes with a little lemon segment. Am I the only one that ever eats that lemon after I've finished my drink?

Just seen your comment Fyorl - did you do that group?? I need to check! (you'll be as bad as me if you have though).
And, what's happened to this group? It's too damn quiet in here, and after all my efforts to hack my way in too - I have to say I'm disappointed...

naturally, the only reason I'm joining this group is because of that cliche but happy-thought-inducing Fight Club reference.

What if I yell stop, go crazy, and flip out before the conversation starts?

Then one of two things will happen:
1) It won't be possible to start any conversation, as there is already a conversation stopper. As it is impossible to start a conversation, the stoppern will not be "satisfied" and stop every conversation.
2) instead of stopping a conversation, it stops the group

Have you ever noticed that all of these groups go in cycles of popularity? .

yeah - we warm to a topic, say all there is to say, then hop off somewhere else and begin again! I think it's because we're all in the same circle of friends with the same groups, so if you check recent comments (as I do), if there's activity somewhere, I go off to check it out, leave a response, then go off again - I often wonder about the groups I'm not in and if I'm missing out elsewhere (when I say 'it's gone quiet' - has it really, or is there a party going on elsewhere that I'm unaware of?)

I always take myself off the groups like word association and acrostic (I'm not sure if I'm off that yet or not.. no, I am) because I worry about all the commenting I'm missing by having those fill up my comment page.

It's a pity virb hasn't yet come up with the option of being in a group and remaining there, yet blocking the comments on the activity page - I suppose you just have to go over and revisit every now and again and join if you want to comment - pity there's no way to hack your way in without having to join - I wonder if that's possible ... ;-D

yep, i finally joined this group after having it in my pending groups list for a few weeks (thanks heshta!).. at the time i got the invite, conversation was steady and i was afraid it would take up too much of my comments page and i'd miss other group comments. figured i'd join when it slowed down a bit.

Uhm...hypothetical question here: what if all of my VIRB friends are already members of the invite club?

It is a quote from the animated movie "Cars", said by the character named Mater (a tow truck)

You are most welcome. I have seen the movie way too many times, becuase it is my son's favorite. It is a good movie to see at least once, if you enjoy animated films.

Well your husband obviously knows it word for word too! I haven't watched it in full - seen clips but not really my sort of film. I have to be in the right frame of mind for them.
I made a new group btw - how are you about being offended? Is your tolerance level pretty high? Don't know whether to send out invites or to let people ask...

Yes, he does. So you deduced that the silly man that started this thing is my husband. Good job. Yes, he has seen it about as many times as I have. Also, thanks to our son. Yes, it takes a certain frame of mind to watch this movie.
To what extent is the offense? Actually, everything on here is all in good fun anyway. Might as well send invites and see how it goes. You never know until you try. :-)

actually nothing to do with lisa - she's been corrupt all along but I knew that from way back! Ok. invite on it's way.
And I did know he was your husband - I read the profiles and look at the pictures - even if I don't comment!
