REMINDER...REMINDER...REMINDER!!! Yes - tomorrow is THE day - don't forget to say hello at least! Happy birthday for tomorrow jo!
Can it really be nearly a year since this was in the planning? Hi jo - expect a lot of activity in here over the next couple of weeks! Any plans for the 4th? (I know I'm planning early - and no more secret groups, I promise! - just wondering if you're doing anything this time?)

Prompted by your comment below about not much activity here, I feel I should hop in and say 'hello jo!' And hope you're having a happy mother's day...

hey Jo...thanks for accepting mandy so readily. much appreciated.
Welcome to the official and (finally) authorised jo appreciation society!
If you are already a friend you won't need telling how much she does around Virb* and elsewhere to enrich people's lives and if you are a new or even casual contact, then be prepared to be amazed at her generosity of spirit. (At this point she's probably blushing like mad and firing off an e-mail or message to ask me to stop - well, until she comes up with some words of her own, I'm afraid she's stuck with this outright and totally justified adoration). Jo was one of my first friends on Virb and was willing to make that leap of faith and add a friend who looked like she might be a loner or loser - I had the honour of being her 200th friend whilst she was my third! I could tell even then how popular she was and over time have come to realise precisely why.
This group began as a secret - a kind of online belated surprise birthday party (make a note of the birthday for next time: 4th October) but hopefully now the fuss has died down you'll be able to use it for a place to leave jo messages that you wouldn't post on her profile, somewhere to just drop in to say hi when you feel like it, knowing that she'll be here to listen and respond.
Make of it what you will, just have a laugh and some fun and make some new friends in the process - we all have one good thing in common - jo!
*jo - feel free to amend or add to the above - I won't be removing any of the compliments though!
