It's because the group creator left virb (sad loss that day Brian) and so his comments and all the ones up to that day disappeared with him - and the same for anyone else that was here and now isn't.
Unfortunately it messes up all the comments when that happens and a lot doesn't make sense!

I may know someone, a friend let's say, that has replaced one said ribbon with another on one such vehicle. The replacement was almost identical except by inscription which, instead of reading five not-going-to-any-troop dollars worth of "Support Our Troops," read "Eat a Dick." I wonder how long it would take one to notice such a switch to his SUV, and subsequently if that event would occur in a church parking lot.
