I'm the Asst. Mgr. at a Fitness Club. As jobs go...it could be worse...but it could also be SO much better. I love the members that I get to deal with daily (with the exception of a couple of mental midgets). The real problem is an Operations Mgr. that has never worked in the fitness industry before and one of the hourly employees that turns every second of the day into a huge drama. I'm so not a drama person...and it literally makes me nauseated to have to interact with him. He's toxic...in more ways than one! The other thing is that I have to be at work at 5:45am and don't really have a set ending time to my day. All that said...I really am just thankful to have a job that pays my bills. So many people are not that lucky.

I am a 911 police/fire dept dispatcher. I work the overnight shift. People don't call 911 for happy stuff. People call 911 with baby mama drama (and baby daddy drama, too). When I'm not talking to rich citizens who inform me that they "pay my salary" (they do not), or people trying to report their car stolen when in fact they just sold it for crack, then I'm on the radio with police officers, some of which are good, some of which scare the holy cracker loving bejesus out of me that they are allowed to carry a badge and gun. I'm talking IN-COMP-O-TENT!! I'm coming up on my 4 year anniversary at the office. 4 years. For that, you get a perscription of pills for high blood pressure. I could go on and on, but instead, I'll just wait and update on this site every now and again as a new "can you believe this bullshit" story arises.

Will do. Hopfully it will serve as a pressure valve for me. I'll try to make it entertaining. Believe me, that should not be hard.
