Woah, nice! And I can't tell, but have you tried making the "secrets" letters attached to each other with strings? Way cool man...

Yeah the stairs were surprising to me as well. it just looked like an interesting composition i caught just before going down them. So i stopped and snapped the pic. The lighting ended up being so unusual that the more i looked at it the more intrigued i became with it. i kind of wish i had a friend or a model with me, would have been perfect leaning on that rail opposite the stairs. ah well.

No specific purpose really. Well, I do need to put stuff together in a portfolio for a critique for an art school. I don't know if this might be included though.

I love it, the desaturation of the background, contrasted with the red of the dress, very cool. love the logo in the corner.

it's cool - almost looks like someone on a stage set or a diorama at the natural history museum with a fake backdrop - really cool feel

yah i loved that it turned out kinda looking like a stage/diorama. it was taken high up on top of a mountain. obviously the clouds were placed in b/c there were none that day, but everything else was as is. victor has a great ability to make images look similar to paintings in post. its great!

This is a design logo I had in mind for my music venue that I'm thinking of starting up in the near future. It's going to be a music venue/living space/design space for people who need a place to live and need space to do their thing. Just like a co-op. Would like some suggestions. Thanks.

Are you starting this thing in Holland, MI?
As to suggestions...maybe clean up the drawing a bit. maybe vector it out in Illustrator. And teh text you may want to work on. a little seperation between the or and the roll.
This sounds like a cool project. keep a fellow Michigander updated.

I agree with M...as my design mentor used to say with some projects, "neither fish nor fowl". What he meant by that, make it one thing or the other, but not both. If it is hand drawn, make that obvious, if vector, clean and even. As I was looking at it, I thought it might me neat to invert the colors...black with white lines/lettering. I like the direction you are going.
