You've wasted many precious sleeping/working hours already on the other group, now's the time to show your true potential and show off with all those words you never use or that you've never seen in print (other than in that enormous dictionary that you are now using).

I doubt I need to explain the basic rules to you - simple word association as it says in the title, same as before, but with a difference. The strings this time will be themed, with you having the opportunity to choose the theme for yourselves. We will see how many words or links we can make before changing the subject and starting again.
The choices are only limited by your own imaginations, so delve deep into those dark recesses and give us some good ideas. We may be making this up as we go along, but so far some suggestions from my co-founder dal have been:
Words all beginning with the same letter (but still linked: cow-cream-cat-curl-cringe etc)
Words with the same number of syllables (water-river-ocean-tidal-seaside)
Antonyms (not sure how easy this would be as we may just go back and forth - BUT there's the challenge - I'm sure you're up to it).

Anyway, you get the idea, we can tweek it as we go along. The start of the theme will be in the first POST COMMENT box, with the person posting explaining clearly what they want the theme to be in that first section, then if anyone continuing the string can REPLY rather than posting a new one, we'll be able to follow each link as it happens down the page, so you can see how it went each time (we don't yet know how many replies you get per page so it could get a bit confusing, especially if there are several links going at once). Be warned - this is not for the faint-hearted!

You've shown your perserverence, linguistic skills and humour in the first version - let's make this group the best yet!
