This group was created to help photographers expand their creativity through bi-weekly assignments. There will be a theme every other week which will be left to your own interpretation.
Here are the rules/guidelines:
0. Please send me a friend request so that I can send you periodic reminders and announcements regarding the group. Don't worry, I'll only send you Viagra emails every once in awhile.
1. Every other Tuesday, I will post a bi-weekly theme. That means once every two weeks.
2. Photos can be submitted any time during the two week assignment.
3. Please submit one (1) photo for the theme.
4. Please make sure the the photos are embedded (no links please.) Try and keep them no more than 800 pixels wide.
5. Please post your photos as your own individual comment. That way people can reply to them directly.
Please include the theme for the photo and a title. Like this:
Assignment #XX
Theme: "Theme goes here"
Title: (insert your title here)
(insert your photo's HTML code here)
6. Only constructive criticism is allowed.
7. Voting: Voting begins on Tuesday. It lasts for one week until the following Monday. Please do not vote until Tuesday. Give everyone a chance to get their photos in so that it is fair for everyone.
You may vote for one photo for each theme, so pick your favorite. Remember when voting, you should precede any other comments with the word/phrase (all upper-case), "VOTE:" in order to have your vote counted.
8. Any submitted photo must be a NEW PHOTO photographed within the assignment's time-frame. No digging through your hard drive and finding old stuff.
9. The winner pics the next assignment theme, so make sure to pay attention if you won.
10. Once you submit a photo, you aren't allowed to withdraw it and replace it with a newer photo.
Please send me a message directly.
Let's get ready to photograph....
Bi-Weekly Photography Assignment #17:
"April Fools"
Submission Deadline: Monday, April 1st, Midnight PDT (US) .
April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day, though not a holiday in its own right, is a notable day celebrated in many countries on April 1. The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, enemies and neighbors, or sending them on fools' errands, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible. In some countries, April Fools' jokes (also called April Fools) are only made before noon on 1 April. Read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fool's_Day
