After I took a 2 week trip to visit, I knew I had to move. I was so upset at having to leave when the trip was over. 6 months later, I moved here, and haven't regretted it since! Best city in the US!

BTW, why are there 4 different Seattle groups on here?!?!

I grew up in Seattle, and remember countless weekends spent on Capitol Hill eating at Rocket Pizza, buying records at Fallout, and having coffee at Coffee Messiah. Good times.

Unfortunaly Coffee Messiah closed down last year. I had a friend who lived in the apt next door to it a while back, the people who were always in there gave me a laugh.

Need to start making those trips to the needle again, heard about the 45x45 contest?? I wouldn't mind a trip to Paris.

posted Mar 11

Dana says:

The 45 millionth person to go up the needle wins a trip to paris. They expect it to happen sometime in April or May. It's to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the needle opening.

Katie says:

pretty sure the storm won a championship. so that counts. even if no one in seattle (myself included) can name a single player.

posted Feb 5

francisco says:

yeah well the sounders have won a championship or two I think, anyone heard of the sounders? yeah that's what I though. lol

i just put that cuz the majors sports here get no respect, because we haven't won the big game yet.
