Two of the many things I want to know. 1) How did Sylar get dragged down the manhole without all those main characters seeing what happened? They were sitting right there. 2) How the heck did Peter talk to the dead guy, Simone's father?

Peter can't seem to use more than one power at once.
There's speculation that Simone's father was one of the old ones... (linderman, hiro's dad, nathan & peter's mum & dad etc) and that he has a similar power to the small boy that Suresh met that could enter your dreams...

SMG:
Sylar doesn't absorb people's powers as Peter does through simple proximity. He has to "take them apart" like a watch and see how they tick. Sylar doesn't have the powers of anyone he hasn't taken apart, hence no invisibility, no Hiro power for Sylar. So however he got dragged down the manhole is something to find out next season.
And I definitely think Simone's dad was one of the previous generation. Just look at the conversation he has with Peter's mom in the finale. I don't think it's speculation -- he was.

can't wait to see hiro turn badass.
You think he'll be dropped in the storyline of kensei?

I agree -- dorky Hiro has become very very annoying, even in the small doses. Please, let's have kick-ass Hiro soon. I can't take much more dorky Hiro. As much as I loved him at first, I can't wait to move past him.

A friend of mine last told me that even Saresh has a power: he never has to sleep.
well even I noticed that something like this was mentioned in one or two episodes.. but I dont know, this sounds so silly ^^
Is it true?

I never noticed that, but what cool power to have. Imagine all the stuff you could get done.

Hey, you could be onto something. He *hasn't* slept yet, and it's been how many episodes?!? And he doesn't have to go to the bathroom, either! ;) He's unstoppable! :D hehe

lol.. so he never has to pee too? :O that would make him the most powerful hero of all times!
imagine a fight with sylar where sylar suddenly has to pee really bad, but Saresh ..well he doesnt have to and takes this moment of carelessness to knock him down right on the toilet seat! unstoppable as you said ^^
but seriously.. I actually dont believe in *my friends* theory, because this probably would have came out stronger in the series, its just that he sounded so sure when he told me.

I think that his only "power" is the antibody that's in his blood, but who knows? There'll be another season (or two, or three, or more, I hope, as long as they don't run out of ideas....) and I'm sure they've got some cool stuff to throw at us. :D

**SPOILERS** - Do not read unless you have seen the finale.
There were a couple moments that were disappointing. I would have liked a better fight between Peter and Sylar. I would have liked Sylar to have stayed dead. Some of it seemed rushed at the end.
Overall I liked it though.

the anticipation was much greater than the actual fight. the events in place got me some pumped for the battle and the bomb, and then they give it so little time. i also don't like the fact that they didn't kill Sylar.

I personally thought it was a little anti-climactic. Not bad, but I swear me and my husband seriously thought we weren't watching the finale until the last 5 minutes, when it became obvious that it was. The pacing just wasn't all that exciting.
As for the Sylar thing- it was weird the way he just kinda paused and let Hiro stab him.... my thought was that he wasn't dead, that he'd seen the comic that showed him being run through with the sword, knew it had to happen, and the let it play out- that he was prepared for it. I thought the glazed eyes and the flashing he saw as he lay there indicated that he was replaying the future he'd previously seen in the loft while he was painting.
But Zerzhul is right- it was a drag mark of blood. Maybe he is dead and the the new big baddie dragged him down there...

I didn't think it was anti-climactic at all. If we keep in mind that every episode is actually a chapter of a volume, then it fit about the same pace as the rest of the season -- slow.
I do agree that the blood stains look more like whatever it was that was bloody was dragged.
And any talk about NBC running out of money and giving the shaft to the fight scene is farce. If they were going to dazzle us with special fx they would have done it a loooooong time ago to set the stage. But I do agree, something a little more epic than a few sucker punches would have been nice.

Danny Awesome says:
Sylar is alive. Chances are he'll have a continuing story on the show as well. I feel like Sylar should become the Magneto of Heroes. They constantly make it look like Magneto is finished and he always comes back. Also, Magneto doesn't believe what he does is wrong, he sees it as destiny. I haven't read comics in a long time so I could be wrong.
I'm also a fan of the villian being Father Petrelli. It would make sense with Peter seeing things in his visions and even speaking to the dead(however that happened). Maybe his father had something similar and perfected his abilities. A father versus son fight could be sweet. If not that I'd like to see a guy so powerful it requires a temporary team-up of Sylar and Peter (the enemy of my enemy is my friend) and maybe NBC will up the budget a bit for a fight scene.
If none of the above, have the Haitian delete some memories from both Sylar and Peter so they can't remember the powers they've gained.

Tremolo says:
I agree that something like an all out special effects type battle wouldn't fit in with the rest of the show. However... you gotta be saying to yourself, "c'mon... punching?!" Lame. Is that what all that training from the invisible guy amounts to?
And it did bother me that Sylar may have survived, but I'm starting to agree with Danny on that one. A recurring villain and hero will make sense in the long run and give us an easier starting point for the following chapters. We have to keep in mind that there are more episodes on the way.
Although... I'm really leaning on the notion that Sylar got dragged in by "the boogie man" - the one that was in the hospital/office when the girl said, "he's already here" - the one who she refuses to "see". And what if that boogie man fixed Sylar up? An evil alliance perhaps? Brotherhood of Evil anyone? Just letting my imagination run now... :)

I agree with the recurring villian thing. It's classic. The X-Men had Magneto, Spider-Man the Osbornes, Star Trek and the Borg. Maybe we can add Heroes and Sylar.

From what I've read, the second series was going to be a compeltely different story, with totally different characters.
This makes me think that Heroes: Origins is their original second series, but the episodes will probably be a bit longer....
When "Generations" kicks off, Tim Kring said that due to the success of the series, the storyline will continue, and conclude about half way through season 2... with a new storyline kicking off to take us to the end of the series.

@Amin - 1 - I think it was when they were all looking up when peter and nathan flew up, that would have been a good time. It would probably have been fast with his telekanesis.
2 - his power has not been revealed yet. It has to be something other than implanting memories or something. Maybe some sort of Xavier telepathy of sorts.
