Although I have been listening to U2 since the early 90s and like all their albums (There really isn't one I don't like) I actually really like How To Dismantle an Atomic bomb. Another underrated but really cool album (plus tour) was POP. Although POP was perhaps their greatest stylistic departure, I have always respected U2's policy of finding fresh inspiration for each album they create. (other than the prolific amount of "Best Of" albums launched in recent years ;-)

October? But I always forget how much I love War until I'm listening to it. And, you know.. all the other albums. Can normal people actually pick a favorite out of all the goodness?

OK; just missed 'Love Town' in 1989, saw "Zoo TV" at the MCG in 1992, they piked on us from then until POPmart came to Melbourne in, what, 2002? Then I just saw them for the Vertigo tour in Melbourne in 2006. The last show was the best.

Favorite album would have to be "Achtung Baby". A pretty bold departure from the previous era and in my opinion every song wins big. Second would probably be "All That You Can't Leave Behind". Can't narrow down to one favorite song...maybe Judas' song "Until The End Of The World"..."Beautiful Day"..."Please"..."Ultra Violet"..."Love Is Blindness"..."Miracle Drug".

Where the Streets Have No Name is not an album, it is a song on the album "The Joshua Tree".

It's probably because I'm a (relatively) newer fan, but I loved the last two albums... HTDAAB and ATYCLB...
For me, the top three albums are the 2 above and Achtung Baby! I just think they're the most complete, meaning I skip the least amount of tracks on those discs...

Call me crazy, but I love their euro-trash phase: Achtung Baby, Zooropa, Pop, and especially Passengers. If I had to choose a favorite it would probably be Achtung Baby - that album woke me up!
