This is something I'm working on for a client... can't decide if its too hard to see the heart? (it is related to an AIDS organization by the way). Feedback?

i like the overlap and the heart but unfortunately the "a" in era reads too much like an "s"

yeah, man. i read "ersact" and don't see the heart. keep pushing. i can see that possibly working with 2 different faces. try removing the transparency too.

thanks all, I definitely see the s now, didn't see it like that before.

there's something very nice about it. The dot above the J is doing something for it.

cool. might try moving the ".tv" up to sit on the same baseline as "jaunt". my favorite is the 4th one. i like how the green color field violates the thinner stroke. nice work.

i love the offset color of #4. i agree that maybe the ".tv" could come up though.

I love this group, don't know why I haven't stumbled across it already. I've never designed a typeface, but I like taking them and chopping them up to make new things :)

I really like it. But I think that it would look even better if you would make it monocolour (as in: just the strong violet-blue, white and gray)

looks really nice, man.
my only comment is its hard to tell what the third letter is. "y" or "p"?
i like the single spot of color a lot
is this a font you made yourself?

Xavez says:
I really think the green dot is superfluous. And the Y is indeed a bit hard to read. Nice concept though :).

it isn't a font, yet...

i'm redesigning Reykjavik Design District logo and over all look
i like this Y better than the first one i drew
the green spot is because of the old (and ugly) logo was basically this big green spot with a ugly typeface beneath

Xavez says:
That Y is much better indeed!
I would still loose the green dot. Or implement it in a different way. But that might just be taste :).

I'm not sure if this 'comment discussion' is even still going... Oh gosh I hope I don't seem like a troll.

I was scanning through and I really like this, but I don't think the second revision of the "y" quite cuts it. The upper curve shifts the direction downward to the dot instead of along to the next letter, which I don't see happening with any of the other characters. Additionally, the dot at the bottom is inconsistent with the other "dotted" characters, where it is always at the northeast corner.
Perhaps something like this might work better, taking the greater "y" shape from the "s"
I still think it's beatifully constructed and would look really awesome cut into a black card (much like what's shown in the original post)
