I would kill to see them live. I had the chance to see Frank Black live, and it was amazing. He did some acoustic Pixies stuff in the beginning that got everyone hyped.

My all time favourite band, number one on my list always has been always will be , i can never get sick of their songs, and if you have seen them live you couldnt disagree with me when i say they aaaARE eve more UNBELIEVABLE LIVE!

The Pixies' music was heavily influenced by punk and surf rock, and while highly melodic, was capable of being tremendously abrasive at the same time. Francis was the band's primary songwriter and singer and had a distinctly desperate, yowling delivery. He typically wrote cryptic songs about offbeat subjects, such as UFOs and surrealism...
