Anyone know how to add Fvwm2.x syntax to a file other than .fvwm2rc?
vimperator - it's crazy, but I think it just might work for me....

anybody use vi(m) for producing LaTeX docs?
I'm trying to start :x It's taking a while. I have MiKTeX, I just haven't put together a doc yet. I mainly want it for MLA/APA formatting and my resume.
ps: screw emacs

Ah yes - tabs. One of my friends likes gvim 7 better for the tabbing than plain jane vim. I use screen, so gvim doesn't cut it. I should really brush up on my window/tab mojo though - I usually just hop between files. I'm all about visual mode though. Line mode and block mode. I figured there are enough vimmers out there to build a veritable army against the Emacs crew. Thanks for joining, all.

nice - thanks for creating this group Hank...
So vim 7 has tabs.... I just can't get into it. I pretty much always use buffers when I'm working, and often split the screen with two of my buffers. Tabs don't seem to have very good keyboard controls... or is it just me?
With buffers, I use :ls when I've forgotten what's in there. But (you may know this... I was so stoked when I discovered it) - vim does buffer name completion! say I have one buffer named page.html - as long as the buffer name is sufficiently unique I can type :b page [tab], :sb html [tab], etc. neato.
