CALL FOR: Community Transmissions
A new collaborative project out of Columbus, Ohio seeks individuals far and wide to call in personal messages which will be mixed into an audio program and included in upcoming public performances and an installation. The performance will utilize aspects of voicemail communications, lo-powered FM and portable audio technologies in an effort currently refered to as the Community Transmission Project. This project will be multi-faceted, to include web presence, podcasts, and hand designed CD-R's.
SUBMIT:
1. Callers dial Community Transmission Project at (614) 441-9923.
2. Leave a message after the beep. (Currently accepting all messages & sounds, up to 5 minutes)
3. By Leaving message, callers agree to allow their audio message to be included in the project and possibly broadcast in public.
4. Keep up to date on the project and upcoming events via http://virb.com/scissor_circus
Upcoming efforts include a project specific Virb profile, a performance Video Blog, and more.
