I am in audio. For capture, we use a variety of systems depending on the location and scale. Mostly it is some kind of Pro Tools system. When we can, we try to get audio straight from the preamp and not from the soundboard, so our volume, eq, etc. isn't dependent on the front-of-house engineer's decisions. One handy device that has saved us in field recording situations is the Marantz PMD660. It looks like an old-school tape recorder but records to flash media, has its own built-in preamp so you can hook a mic straight to it, and can record in multiple formats through multiple inputs. The PMD660 also works as a backup device to the Pro Tools system. If Pro Tools freaks out, we have backup audio routing to this device.
All post-production is definitely done in Pro Tools with a variety of plug-ins for compression and EQ to level out and clean up the sound. We use your basic Mackie HR824 monitors to hear what we're doing.

Ok, so I will be the first to right something. How is everyone doing? It's great to see a group for people who do this type of ministry. I love it.
So what is everyone using for equipment. I mainly deal with video so here is my equipment list.
1. Sony V1 HDV Camera
2. iMac Dual Core (soon to be a Mac Pro(drool))
3. Final Cut Studio
So whats everyone else using and what do you think of it?
