Me too! The sad thing is I've actually worked with chefs that are just like that. Their employees plot their demise behind their backs. I have a feeling that Ramsey is a teddybear away from the kitchen. The premiere Monday night was amazing!

hells kitchen is too much ... fluff for me. they don't even show anything.. the whole show is about people getting stressed and yelled at in the kitchen.. i've yet to see anything about food on that show.

I have to admit...you're "spot on" about that,Covelli. I guess the appeal for me is that it fascinates me to observe how people react under stressful situations...even when heavily edited for television.

I DO adore Top Chef...so much talent and innovation. Seems like this group is going to prove quite interesting.

While his food was very creative...I believe it was his attitude that did him in. On a show like that...you have to learn to get along with people (just like in the real world). There are some chefs that can get away with outrageous behavior, such as Gordon Ramsey...but for the most part, any chef that acts like an ass around his employees won't have a very loyal staff.
