This is probably TMI, but I'm thinking about getting a Brazilian Wax. How much will it hurt???

Sorry...can't be of any help on this one. I have been told they are VERY painful...not to mention the awful position you have to get into to have it done!

Now is this a Full Brazilian (everything removed) Wax or just Brazilian Bikini Wax? I have done the first one twice. And will go again next Tuesday. Yes it hurts however, since you have had kids that usually helps. Your pain threshold is greater than someone that hasn't had children. Another thing that helps is that you get someone that has been doing this for awhile.

You go GIRL!!! =P I was thinking the FULL. (Okay, I'm not having a dude do like in that photo). Painful, check! Second question, how itchy is it when the hair starts to grow back?

Kinda itchy. Luckily the hair becomes finer the more you do it. You also have to watch out for ingrown hairs. I use a loofah (some recommend it and some don't ) to help with that. Plus, I use Cortizone creme for inflammation and itchiness. Plus, I use Polysporin for spots where the hair flollicles get infected. Ok, hopefully that wasn't too much info. :-) Ask the Asethetician (sp?) what they recommend for upkeep afterwords. Some will recommend applying Aloe afterwords. After all the pain and slight discomfort it is kinda of a neat look. So what made you want to do this, hesh?

Just wanted to change it up =) I was alway curious...
Information is good! So, thank you! It's not a question that I can bring up at the PTA. ahahhahahaaa

I was also thinking one day I want to get laser hair removal for under my arms, but I'm going to start with this...

i would get one. but i haven't had kids, so i am afraid of the pain... is it anything like tattoo or piercing pain?

@ heshta. Change is good. That is why I did it. Yeah, I could imagine some sideways looks if you asked about this at the PTA. :-D

@ elle: I have never gotten a tattoo, so I don't know how much pain is or isn't involved there. I have had only ear piercings and they weren't too bad. The best thing to do is start off with a regular bikini wax if you aren't sure you could handle the pain from a full brazilian and just work up from there if you can handle it.
