I've been quoting the 'none at all' transition from right at the beginning all the time lately (although not with any applicable circumstance. unlike you, I always seem to miss the applicable circumstances, except to occasionally remark that someone is so hip they can hardly see over their pelvis.) but, yeah. I think that transition is the greatest proof of Douglas Adams's brilliance ever. no one else would have thought to use Mr. Prosser's remark to transition into Ford's origins.. it's amazing. I also found out about Liffs the other day, which was fairly exciting.
