Brazilian born Alessandra Ambrosio is considered one of the world's current crop of "Supermodels" along with noted countrywoman Adriana Lima.

Beginning her modeling career with an "Elite" contract, Alessandra got her first big break when she was selected for the cover of Brazilian "Elle" magazine which was subsequently followed up by a number of editorial shoots for the same publication. She made the leap to big label fashion modeling when "Guess?" signed her for their Fall 2000 campaign. This was followed by further print work for "Guess?", "Revlon" and more recently (and perhaps famously) "Victoria's Secret".
