Congratulations, you've found your way to the Ramones group on virb, created 12.7.07.

I'm Lyndse, and being born in 1982 I was lucky enough to grow up with the music of the Ramones, thanks to my very eclectic dad. I can remember the Ramones being a part of my life from a very early age (along with many other amazing musical groups), and so the Ramones have always been a major part of the soundtrack of my life and have helped to mold me into the person that I am today.

Along with Led Zeppelin, the Ramones are one of two bands that I wish I could go back in time just to see live. I am still deeply saddened by the fact that only 1 of the original 4 members of the band is still with us today, and I'm particularly saddened by the death of Joey. I've always loved him and related to him, and I really wish I could have met him in person.

So, if you're here and you love the Ramones as much as I do, feel free to join up. The purpose of this group is to create a tight community of fans: so tell stories, share artwork, post pictures of your prized original printings of Ramones records, whatever. And thanks for checking us out.
