PJ HARVEY

her own private revolution

"She burst
Dropped off
Picked the fruit
And realize
I'm naked too
So cover my body
Dress it fine
Hide my
Linen and lace
Been sewing ever since time began

But more than the hills
More than the trees
More than the mountains-you
More than I can see
In front of me
More than the mountains-you

-Fruit flower myself inside-out
I'm happy and bleeding for you
Fruit flower myself inside-out
I'm tired and I'm bleeding for you

This fruit was bruised
Dropped off and blue
Out of season
Happy and bleeding
Long overdue
Too early and it's late too
Mind and body
I would and I would not do

- Fruit flower myself….

Fig fruit flower myself inside-out for you"

Hello to friends of Polly Jean Harvey!! I am a BIG fan of hers and have been since 'Rid of Me' was released. If anyone is interested enough, I did a cover of 'The Desperate Kingdom of Love' from Uh Huh Her... it's on my page if you want to listen: virb.com/justinjustice.

It is too quiet on virb!! We need to change that!!

Cheers
Justin Justice

it is quiet, Devoted... let's call it a secret elite. White Chalk is great, pretty much piano driven, I like her soft mellow stuff like this too, I'm sure you've got it by now but you can also hear it herehttp://www.pjharvey.net/player/
Polly should get on virb.

Yeah... this group is a microcosm for Virb at large. :P And actually I haven't picked up the album, nor have I heard any of the tracks... save for a live performance of "Grow Grow Grow" I saw on YouTube. I've a wicked case of OCD when it comes to listening to an artist's catalogue... I like to listen to albums in order, and I'm only up to "To Bring You My Love"... next one up for me is "Dance Hall At Louse Point"... so it'll be a while before I hear "White Chalk". :(

A friend of mine's been sampling PJ's new album, "White Chalk". I don't like to pirate, nor do I like to spoil things for myself... but I've been hearing some great things about the new album. Has anyone else listened to it?

If the album cover's any indication, this is gonna rock! September 25th can't come quick enough. ;)

Hi, I wanted to introduce myself to this group.... I'm a filmmaker/artist/musician.
Love PJ Harvey's music.
You can find lots about my work google or the imdb.
I finally recorded the guitar parts for my song "Life as An Android" and uploaded it to www.virb.com/useche
It's for a new trailer for my film.
I'm also on facebook and last.fm .
Hope to hear from you.
Here's a picture from my film:

Welcome to the groups. I saw your other post in the Radiohead group, though I felt the extra comment could do a lot better here. It's so quiet here. :P
