My favorite is a full moon when Mars is in its neighborhood.
Second favorite would have to be waning crescent. Or waxing. I'm not too picky. As long as it's slivery. Or silvery.

full moon phase with kind of aura around it because of the atmosphere. second to that is when it is a cresent.
