David Bowie is the most important rock artist in music history. Okay, that's my opinion. I have been fortunate enough to work with artist who have worked with Bowie. My life was complete when I met David Bowie in 2000 after the Roseland show. Yes, it was like meeting God. His son as well as Iman (WOW) was there too. I got to meet the entire band as well Tony Visconti. Mike Garson told me a story I will share with the group soon. I kissed Gails head. Dennis Davis was there as well as Zac Alford. What an amazing night. I never won anything in my life and I won this meet and greet. My mom passed away and I buried her on Friday and met Bowie on Monday. I lost a mom but gained an angel!

Probably no one will agree with this: DIAMONG DOGS is the second best Bowie album after ZIGGY.
There. I said it.

I disagree.
I feel the best Bowie albums in order are:
1. Hunky Dory
2. Low
3. Ziggy Stardust
4. Scary Monsters
5. Station To Station

Ugh, I've been trying to track that film down for ages - I think I'm just going to have to order it from the intarwebs after all, because it does definitely appear to be bloody brilliant! :D

Yeah, there was anchor bay version, but Criterion released the DEFINITIVE edition last year. With the book, I might add.

That's the version I have -- Criterion with the book -- definitely worth it!

Damnit, predictably, it's for the wrong region. I need to convince my parents to get a region-free DVD player. D:

If I had to choose, ALADDIN SANE and LOW probably tie for my favorites. DIAMOND DOGS comes in a very close second.
Have any of you got your hands on Just a Gigolo (DVD)?
Comedian Stevie Riks does the best impression of Bowie I've ever seen: Teach Yourself David Bowie. Also, Bowie Sings Simon & Garfunkel!
