1. I just what to know if any one has ever visited Iran.
and
2. Which places do you prefer to visit in Iran?
there's a river in western washington, near a town called Yelm, in the foothills approaching Mt. Rainier. The river is called the Deschutes. the state owns the land around the river at that point, but it is leased to and managed by Weyerhauser, apparently. anyhow, there is a series of waterfalls on the river, and just downstream from the falls the river flows through a canyon, with cliff walls rising about 60 feet up on either side. it's trespassing to go in there, so be careful, but it's totally worth it. I'd recommend finding a wetsuit, even in the dead of summer, because all of the water is from glacier runoff. the approximate google earth coordinates are: 46,48'09.32"N by 122,24'54.18W

One of the best things about traveling, whether it's within your own country or around the world, is getting tips and advice from other travelers. Where to stay. Where to eat. What to see. What pubs to visit. The best places are never in the guide books, but always found by word of mouth. Guide books are for tourists.
