We like Talisker and Jura Single Malts and of course Old Horse No.1 by the way, we set up a Single Malt Group http://www.virb.com/groups/75585358
Some more to add to my list of current whiskeys: The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year and one of my favorites, Laphroaig 10 year, a smoky camp-fire in the mouth. Yumm I am also enjoying a bottle of Makers Mark Bourbon, a gift from a friend.
I recently got to enjoy some Glenlivet 15. Quite good, with strong fruity tones, it was unlike anything I've had before. check it out.
Peace,
Patrick

Well its a hot August Monday night, a bit on the humid side, and I'm am sitting outside with a Montecristo Cigar (White Label Churchill) and a glass of Cragganmore 12 year old scotch with rocks, its a single malt that I read about in Cigar Aficionado magazine, I came across a bottle on a recent road trip I had taken. So far its a real good scotch, nice and smooth with rich flavors, and it compliments the cigar nicely. definitely a good buy. Enjoy

For those of you interested in trying something new and stellar, go out and purchase yourself a bottle of Lagavulin 16. I know I mentioned it before, but I enjoyed it again 2 weeks ago, along side Glenlivet 16 Cask Strength. Both polar opposites in flavor, but amazing.
If you purchase a bottle of the Glen try it neat, but it is best with a couple of cubes or a bit of water.
The Lagavulin is smokey and is also best with a few cubes.

To start a bit of dialogue, what are some bourbons you enjoy? I am currently enjoying: Knob Creek & Makers Mark
Do you like it neat or on the rocks? Whiskey, is a group for those who enjoy good whiskey (whisky), be it single malt scotch, blended, or good old American Bourbon. Share your experiences, favorite style or brand, or your least favorite.
