Ok, so, food - scottish/traditional then it's got to be Stravaigan (not Stravaigan 2) in the west end, or Oran Mor (west end again, old converted church) capital spare ribs, spring rolls and crispy chilli beef are the best I've tasted, also worth a visit would be china buffet king on Sauchiehall st, for Italian, Zizzi's in the city centre is good, Dino's next to Ann Summers is great for pizza. The restaurant in the Malmaison is great if you're feeling a bit flush as is the Buttery (between city centre and west end) Have heard the Teriyaki place in the rotunda at the SECC is great. Indian food, try Mr Singhs or Mother Indias Cafe.

For lunchtimes the pubs on Bath street in town are usually worth a visit as are most of the places in Princes Square.

Cool pubs, has to be the Ben Nevis on Argyle street (the west end side), Butterfly and the pig is good, especially on a fri night with their house band. Stavka is quite cool too.

If you fancy a club then try Buff Club, down Bath Lane or via Butterfly and the Pig, only has 300 capacity but is really nice inside.

House for an Art Lover on the southside is meant to be worth a visit too.

Hope this helps, any questions give me a shout
