Okay, smarties, I got a question for you:

For some reason, the "add comments" textarea is toggled ON when my profile page loads, instead of being hidden and displaying when a user clicks on the link.

I tried turning off the styles I had applied to the textarea, thinking that was the problem, but still no cigar.

Ideas?

(It's probably something stupid, small, and silly, but I'm just not seeing it...)

Teevio says:

Basically, the textarea by default is set to hidden (it might actually be the container div that is hidden). So you probably removed that CSS somewhere, and now your textarea always shows.

Rachel says:

Sweet, that was it (the container div). I just added a display: none to div#add_comment, and now all is well in the 'hood.

Thanks!

Thanks to whoever invited me to this group. I love CSS and I love Virb.

So it looks like I'm the only non-white, non-male member... (except perhaps Bryan who has chosen not to grace us w/a photo)
SCORE!

Brett pointed out to me that you can now remove the gradient from the virb banner.. div#virb_banner_profile { background-image: none; }

@Teevio: Thanks for the Safari warning -- I'll look into it!

Teevio says:

Not sure James what's going on with your CSS, but Safari is all jacked too.

Ben says:

Hmm.. I'll try to look into that sometime this week

James {Collins} says:

Thanks y'all! Unfortunately, what is finished of my profile is still jacked in IE 7. :( There is some odd top margin/padding/height issue with my VirbTunes list and my Groups list. Does anybody know how to tame the margin-top in IE? Thanks!
