People visiting Dour

Like every year before, the festival will be held on an old coal mining site, in between the slag heaps, called La Machine a Feu in the village of Dour, Belgium, just by the French border. During 4 days over 200 bands coming from all over the world [32 different countries were represented in 2006] will be strutting their stuff on the Dour stages. This ensures a quality billing, both ambitious and eclectic. At Dour, you can be the first to see new exciting bands that will become the next big thing alongside more seasoned performers and bands that need no introduction in a variety of musical genres. Dour also celebrates local talent by showcasing many Belgian bands every year.
