Boulder has a large 10k race in town every year (had 50,000 runners this year) - I rode around town on my bike and tried to capture pictures all the many photo-journalists probably weren't taking.

It's a abit underexposed; however, this results in an interesting side-effect: the ball and grass resemble a planet and stars in space if you ignore the sky.

turn it upside down and see what abstract image you get. it looks like it might look like a "moon scape" (if you will). I think its cool!

I try not to use too much image manipulation on my photographs but have started to mix colour and B&W using Photoshop...I've been using it for over ten years for general design work.
