For those who like to rock... or read about those who like to rock... or do good...or consider suicide.
This is a group for fans of the author Nick Hornby to come together, talk about his books, talk about the subsequent films made from his books (High Fidelity, About a Boy) and basically -- whatever anyone wants to do.
How to be Good. I think I like it so much because I hated it the first time I read it. Several months after the first read I started getting a craving for it, for some reason. So I picked it up again. And I've liked it more and more with each read :)
A Long Way Down (as if my display name didn't give that away easily enough ;)). Amusingly the first Hornby book I read, but I have since read almost everything else by him... you know, ever. I recently picked up Slam and can't wait to see his spin on YA fiction.

I really liked A Long Way Down for some of the darker humor within it.
