This group is for all the people out there that recognize despite what Karl Rove has gotten America to think, Jesus is not a republican. It's a group for conservatives. It's a group for liberals. And it is a group for everyone in between.

It's a group that realizes that there are more issues at hand than just what the Religious Right represent. It's a group that recognizes that there is value to all human life, and there is also value in sticking up for the poor, the environment, and racial equality. Jesus spent more time talking about the poor than He did sexuality - or any of the other "hot topic" issues. And there are over 2,000 verses in the Bible related to poverty.

So all can join, but lets keep things civil. We aren't going to agree on everything, but we can agree that Jesus isn't a Republican.
