Another participation group! We like to play!

As you can tell from the title, this group is all about numbers. Take a photo of a number and post it here. We start at 1 and go on till we get bored or give up. Simple as that! (I don't claim that this is totally original - have seen variations on flickr for example but not seen anything for us Virb-ers).

The rules: and woe betide you if you don't follow them or if you can't count.

Take a photo of a number. We will start with 1 and each new number is added as a 'comment' in NUMERICAL order with no gaps in the sequence. If you find that you have posted the same number as someone else, then the first one remains and you must delete yours. You can add it as a 'reply' to the original if you still want to show it, if you missed your chance (or if, heaven forbid, you think yours is a better image...)

Try to be as imaginitive as possible - I'd rather not have several hundred photos of different page numbers please! No googled or blatant computer images either - just photos that you have taken yourselves of actual numbers. Make the images as clear as possible, and if there is more than one number in the shot, then only use it if it's obvious which number it is (for example - a photo of a complete clock face would not be acceptable for the number 12, but a close up of that number would be.)

The possibilities are endless - car registrations, house numbers, food wrappings, clocks, toys, graffiti - the more bizarre the better I suppose. Explanations of their origins would also be good but remember, if you have to explain too much then it's probably not a good image to use. One last thing - don't hog the board - maybe a maximum of 3 posts at a time (or just the one) until we get under way.
