When I first heard Heath Ledger was the new Joker - I immediately thought of the standard Heath Ledger. Since I had just watched Brokeback Mountain, this was the immediate image of Ledger that I got. Sick, twisted, demented Joker was not the image that came to mind. However, after I thought about it, I remembered Ledger playing "Skip" in Lords Of Dogtown. Now, if you've seen LOD, you'll know that Ledger turned into a completely different person -- so much so that I don't even think of Heath Ledger being in that movie. If Heath plays Joker with the same commitment that he played "Skip", then he will be a fantastic Joker. I cannot wait.
