HI Friends and Fam ... We've got a guest for tonight's show on Brick City House ... the one and only, Renny Constantine! This decknician has been servin' the freshest of beats for some time now. He's now poised to pass his funky deepness on to the masses through his production and, heh, I thought it fitting that we do our best to get his sound out to as many ears as possible. So as not to go on and on about him, I'll let his bio do the talking. (Quick Reminder, The needle drops at 7pm GMT. So if you're in L.A. that's 11am, from Texas to the Midwest 12pm , D.C. & N.Y. 1pm., Europe, you come in close to our time @8pm.) Enjoy Music, Oktober “I'm not here to judge you, make you look like a fool or hurt you; I’m just in it for one thing............music". – Renny Constantine Renny Constantine has been into House since the early 90's; growing up in a city known for its birth of good music. Listening to his older sisters House music tapes on her stereo when she was out at nightclubs, he knew this was going to be the music he would have a tie with for the rest of his life. In the late 90's he latched to the UK garage sound joining DJ’s, Hector C and DJ Crem, clubbing around the country. He watched UK garage marry house and then saw the divorce. Years later [in an off chance meeting on a bus] he was handed a flyer by Chicago's own, David "Chicago Dave" Gandy. Little did he know that this would form a friendship to span over many year’s. Dave taught Renny the basics of finding himself before projecting to others and was then given his first break. Although not taking up DJ’ing until 2003, his progression has come thick and fast. He started out by playing deep house in various bars in Bristol with the Canadian outfit Tongue & Groove (Pancho, Aaron & Dave) back in 2005, and the valuable lessons learned through their 50 combined years of experience set Renny up for the next chapter in his music. Fast forward to 2007, and you could find him moving on to playing a darker sound with fellow DJ, Jay Russell, forming the Dirty Sound Technicians and playing across the country. Since getting to grips with the performance side of things with his DJ’ing, Renny has made a bond with old school friend, Paske, in order to make that next evolutional step into production. He and Paske have since joined Andy Childs to produce for the BulletProofSonics imprint. After years of hard work, Renny Constantine’s style has come to full fruition. His is a selection of deep/jacking/tech house, with a few wild cards for good measure. The result has created a sound that cannot be defined. Using his club experience of the house & garage events in the late 90's, he learned to hone his unique sound of driving bass lines, '4-step' and straight up 'bleeps' that will have you begging for more. Renny has played alongside a variety of DJ’s including: Lottie, Yousef, Audiojack, MYNC Project, Deepgroove, Sammy Jo (scissor sisters) and Russell Deeks (I-DJ magazine). Various gigs includes playing at “Nature”, at Timbuk2, along side Emmalease and Eva-Marie (Sax@phonic), a night featuring good friend Stuart Wilkinson of Empathy fame. He has carried residencies in Bristol for Chicago, DirtyBlue, Drama and Koolwaters, with several appearances across the UK, Jamaica and Ibiza. --

Hi Friends and Fam!
I wanted to first give a HUGE "Thank you" to everyone who's joined the 'Brick City House group'. I'm really excited for starting this show, as it's something I've wanted to do for a very long time - and the best part of this is I get to share this with you! I'm also really excited about joining the Chicago House FM Radio family, and am super proud to be part of something that's consistently growing every single day - just like the music.
From the family vibe between the all station DJ's to the welcoming chat room with incredibly great people like Pootz, Perkin, Hughes, FayeB, and of course Mr.Hun, Chicago House FM has been my family since they welcomed me into the headphones 9 months ago. And ain't one of us going anywhere any time soon, ya' hear!?!?
With that said, allow me to invite you to my début radio show for Brick City House when the first needle drops Wednesday @7pm GMT. In case you haven't guessed, I'll be playing House music. Sure you'll get the Classics, and yea you'll get the Funk, but the most important thing is you'll get some damn good music for two oh so solid hours. :-) Full-stop. From time to time I'll have guests, so expect to hear some new jacks that are breaking in as well as from some true heads that gave the mold to the groove that we love.
Since our Daylights Savings time is March 29th, that'll be Noon if you're living anywhere near the West Coast, 2pm if you're anywhere from Texas to Chicago, 11pm for my friends in S. Africa, and for all you house-heads in Tonga that'll be 8am and a little something extra with your morning sauce. Make sure to stay tuned-in for Mr. Hun's "The Jackumentory Experience" which follows directly after mine starting at 9pm GMT. This chocolate-voice decknician brings his flava' front and center, leaving you surrendered to getting up and shakin' uur thang'. Jangatha follows directly after 11pm GMT with his "Funk Delivery Service", droppin' his tasty parcels directly into your ears.
One thing before I let you go, I'd like to give big-up's and "wooop! wooop!" to Camouflage for giving me the opportunity to give my record bag a new home. Without him and Chicago House FM this wouldn't be possible. Thanks Bro!
I really appreciate your support, encouragement, Love, and Thank you - again - for supporting my effort, Friends and Fam .... Let's cut tha' rug.
Love, and keep it poppin'.
