God damn I hate being in the UK (Lost airs on Sunday night on Sky1). Can I resist the temptation of reading all the forums on it? hmmm.

Does anyone think that Kate is prego? They said they had to recreate the scenario, and Claire was pregnant on the plane. We all saw what Jack and Kate were up to the night before...

I'm sorry for Penny, looks like Ben killed her (or that is what they want me to think).
I'm also wondering how many more times will the show change it's narrative structure. After three seasons with the exact same flashback-story-related-with-present-on-the-island structure they have changed it a lot.

That was my interpretation as well. As soon as he said the had a "promise to keep to an old friend" I guess that will be the reason Des makes his way back to La Isla Loco.

There's no way Penny's dead. That would be bad television! My theory is he tried to kill her but ran into Papa and/or his cronies. Hence the severe beating he apparently received.

OKAY. The Virb launch kept me away on Wednesday, so I just watched this week's episode. Was quite a different episode. It just felt... weird. Like if I were to have a dream about LOST, that episode would have been my dream. Maybe I'll watch it again.

I went in expecting that episode to suck. I thought it was simply going to a be an "OK! We're all buddies again, let's go back!" transitional episode. Although it was a bit of a transitional episode, it ended up being pretty solid and one of my favorite episodes of the season.
The mythology download we got from Mrs. Hawking was pretty interesting, and led me to wonder these things > http://virb.com/groups/lost/discuss/topic/70805
There were a lot of interesting setups (akin to when we saw Ben first appear in the Dharma Parka in the desert): Ben all bloodied, Sayid in custody, Hurley making it on the flight, Aaron getting left behind, etc.

Is it just me or is it like they can't wait to explain what the whole series is all about now? It's like they've been keeping us in the dark for so long and now they've finally let the light in. I found Hurley's explanation to his mum really funny a couple of episodes ago... (sorry this wasn't really aimed at this specific episode).
