White Shoes (316 spoilers, ahoy)

So tonight we saw a group of travelers aim to get back to the island by being part of a airline flight, the act of which included the swapping of a dead man's shoes.

This made me wonder: was 815 such a flight as well? Were the people who disappeared from Flight 815 (Cindy, etc.) trying for the same sort of thing? Were Christian Shepherd's "adopted" white tennis shoes swapped out for the same reasons as Locke's new kicks.

Just an idea I had when the shoe-swapping madness began. Thoughts?

wow. i'm wondering about the guitar hurley had... is it charlie's?
i'm thinking just like jeremy bentham needed shepherd's shoes to come back, charlie or libby or someone important to hurley needed that guitar to come back with them. how else would he have known to be there if charlie's ghost or mr. eko's ghost or some mostly dead person hadn't told him when and where??

I was wondering about the guitar as well. Definitely saw it as an allusion to Charlie, but hadn't considered that it might actually be his. I think there were other such "echoes" on the flight such as a convict (Sayid) traveling with their guardian (ala Kate). Spot any others?

Obviously the guitar and Hurley's shirt (kinda looked like a rocker tee) were definitely eluding to Charlie, the real question is how did Jin get to be a "Dharma Employee"? Do they trust him, or is he just running around?

wow! good job.
the real question about jin being a dharma employee is when that was, and why didn't anyone recognize him from that job later on the island, right after it crashed?
not to mention frank lapidus being the pilot. was that coincedence?
and what happened to aaron!?!?
